12th Annual - 2008 African American Mens Health Summit

The Central Florida Pharmacy Council (CFPC) is proud to present "Crossing Bridges: Hip Hop Teen Health Summit" at the 11th Annual African American Men's Health Summit to be held on April 7, 2007. The CFPC is a not-for-profit professional volunteer organization that has promoted health education in Central Florida for the past ten years. The Crossing Bridges Teen Health Summit is a program that targets young men between the ages of 12 and 17 and addresses critical health issues of great concern to the teens. The purpose of the crossing Bridges Teen Health Summit is to educate and empower young men to take a proactive approach to their physical and emotional health.

This year's Teen Health Summit will feature workshops on the following topics:

Conflict Resolution
Physical Fitness
Emotional Education
Peer Mediation
Financial Education
HIV/AIDS
Gang Resistance
Drug & Alcohol Abuse Awareness
Unintended Pregnancies
Homicide and Suicide
Safety

Participants will receive meals and gifts, all at NO cost!! Crossing Bridges: Hip Hop Teen Summit is partnered with the 11th Annual African American Men's Health Summit, which is being held on the same date and at the same location.!

Teens must be pre-registered to attend! Registration is open to "males only" ages 12-17.
